CIT University Computer Students’ Society: Blog ta bai, University nata!

CIT University Computer Students’ Society just had their first event early this morning, BLOG TA BAI, UNIVERSITY NATA! a blogging seminar talking mainly about the BASICS of Blogging and the Professional Blogging.

With Engr. Vernon Joseph Go, Deutche Mark Atil Monta and Kevin Ray Chua in the house, CIT University MassCom Theater was transmuted into a blogging arena, making me feel that the activity we had is just right for us Technologians. Knowing that almost all of the heads of Cebu Bloggers Society  Committees are tiknoys, we are rest assured that we shall be given  optimum assistance with much privilege compared to others.

First, Mark shared out of his blogging experience, he even pointed always that as a blogger, and to be part of Cebu Bloggers Society is really a big privilege. Secondly, it was Engr. Go who was tasked to talk about driving traffic to a blog and his expertise, making money out of it. “Content is the king” and “Content is still the king”, as what he revealed. This is his main secret in blogging. Got to learn from it, and shall never follow, right engineer? He also announced of having a BLOG CARAVAN in the 10 UNIVERSITIES in CEBU, which I presume CIT University will always be in the list. Good job Sir TANUM and Engr. Go.

I hope the mugs we have given to the two speakers will be featured in their blogs, and

Fortunately, we are unfortunate that we haven’t uploaded any moments captured in the seminar. These maybe available days after.

But my appreciation will always be special to the people in making this event possible. First, to my mind who is responsible of all of this. I’m not really expecting that this will push through: an activity in mind to promote our student organization, Computer Students’ Society and my idol, Cebu Bloggers Society. Hoping soon to be part of this society, maybe I should learn a lot of things as of now. Next, to my co-officers who always showed their support from the start: Gian Sebastian Lucero, Jovel Clark Contratista, Chari Flor Supino, Rosanna Pinky Anog, Jarlou Valenzuela, Alfel Benvic Go, Kevin Ray Chua, Alan Angelo Llevares, CIT University SSG President, Ms. Leah A. Velasco, our dearest adviser and the rest of the CSS fans. Thank you so much. Heap heap, array!
